Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival Set for Oct. 22nd
Tickets for the event include a souvenir glass and unlimited wine tasting. There will be two stages featuring cooking demonstrations, dancing and live music. The event is partnered with the Monterey County Arts Council and will include a wide variety of local art on display. Tickets are $30 Advance and $40 at the door to attend the event. There is a special price of $50 for couples wishing to attend. VIP admission is $75 for advance purchase and $85 at the door. VIP will take place in the FOX Theater. The mission of the Salinas Valley Food and Wine Festival is to foster local celebration of fantastic food and wine while highlighting the growing cultural, arts and culinary communities in the Salinas Valley. Thousands are expected to explore this unique event that organizers intend to make a tradition.
Salinas, CA – The Oldtown Salinas Association and the Monterey County Young Professionals Group announced a Salinas Valley Food and Wine Festival set for Oldtown Salinas on October 22nd from noon to 5PM today. The event will take place on the 200 block of Main Street and already includes fifteen wineries and six breweries along with a number of local restaurants, caterers and vendors. One hundred percent of the profits benefit charity with a portion going to fight homelessness through Shelter Outreach Plus.
