Los Laureles Lodge offers Sun, Sun and more Sun.

The swimming pool, bathhouse, and its poolside patio are essential to the Los Laureles experience. Where formerly Muriel Vanderbilt Phelps poured salt into the pool to give her guests an "ocean" experience, visitors now are content to just laze away the day, ordering Smoothies or our own Margaritas from the outdoor bar, or lunch from the restaurant. Barbecues and pool parties are often held here for special occasions.

Here, also, leisurely lunches are served on the Pool Patio under shading umbrellas.

An old-fashioned bathhouse for changing and showering makes the pool a favorite gathering place through the summer for local residents as well.

There is a nominal charge per day for non-guests-from 11:00AM to 6:00PM, 7 days a week.

Monday is "Hospitality Day", a "free day" for residents working in the visitor industry.
