COME ONE COME ALL to the 1st annual MSSR Winter Rock Showcase - Tuesday, December 14th 7PM at the Carmel Youth Center (4th & Torres in Carmel-by-the-Sea).

This is very exciting. As some of you know, I run an after school music program at the Carmel Youth Center called Martin Shears' School Of Rock.  The program teaches kids middle school thru high school how to play rock music through individual instruction and group jam lessons.

This coming Tuesday December 14th at 7PM we will present our WINTER ROCK SHOWCASE. Two bands made up of MSSR students and myself will rock your holiday socks off with songs by the Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

This is a fund-raiser for Rock N Roll Kids, a new non-profit organization that supports after school rock music programs at the Carmel Youth Center including MSSR, Recording Arts Workshop, Summer Glee Camp etc. There will be a silent auction for items donated by local businesses and a raffle. 

Below is a partial list of items for raffle and auction. A cash donation of $10 gets you 5 raffle tickets or you can get 12 for $20. Because we are trying to raise money for Rock N Roll kids, we also encourage you to make a tax deductible donation to the cause (tax receipt forms will be available at the show). Please come support the kids at their first official showcase. It's gonna be a rocking good time!
