The 3rd Annual Party for the Paws – Saturday, October 22, 2011 at The Marina Lounge on Fisherman's Wharf.

Hosted by: Marina Lounge (located above Gilbert's on Fisherman's Wharf), featuring fantastic views of Monterey Bay and the harbor.

The 2011 event will benefit these four groups, that combined, serve approximately 9,300 animals a year:

• AFRP/Animal Friends Rescue Project
• The City of Salinas Animal Shelter
• FoCAS/Monterey County Animal Shelter
• Peace of Mind Dog Rescue

These shelters need our help more than ever. All proceeds from event ticket sales and silent auction items benefit the four organizations. The event is funded by donations from area sponsors and organized by a not-for-profit group of citizens.

Plus we'll have rescued dogs onsite available for adoption, KION/KCBA personalityTamara Berg on hand to emcee the event, guest of honor Salinas City Councilman Steve McShane, special guests Marc Cota-Robles and Jasmine Viel from KION/KCBA.

Due to space limitations, we ask that you please only bring adoptable dogs to this event.
