A SPOTLIGHT ON CHELSIE HILL...
In February 2010 Chelsie Hill was involved in a horrible accident with a group of friends. Making the one wrong decision of getting in a car with a driver who had been drinking changed her life forever. Chelsie was quickly left without any use of her legs and is now a paraplegic.
Since her accident Chelsie has been an advocate for teens in helping them to make smart decisions with regards to drinking and driving. She speaks at schools, works out daily, and has even started up a foundation called the Walk and Roll Foundation. The foundation is designed to help spinal cord injury victims by acting as a resource center.
In a recent statement regarding her new foundation, Chelsie stated, "I am just so excited to be able to be a part of giving back and helping other people, the way people helped me."
Hobnob Monterey gives Chelsie Hill a big thumbs up for making the most of a very unfortunate situation! Chelsie, you are an inspiration to many!
