Final Twilight Ride of 2011 Scheduled for December 7th
MONTEREY, Calif., Dec. 1, 2011 — Now is the time to take to two wheels and burn off some of those calories from Thanksgiving dinner and a chance to get in a little exercise before the feeding frenzy of the remaining holidays.
The final twilight ride of 2011 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Come out to the 11 turn, 2.238 mile world famous race track for this informal ride that is open to all levels of cyclists. Helmets are required and the cost is $10 per rider with proceeds going to charity.
Monterey-based Light & Motion (www.lightandmotion.com) will be loaning out their LED bicycle lights, which are among the lightest, brightest and most reliable lights available on the market. Twilight Ride participants will also receive a 15% discount should they wish to purchase lights. Additionally, Bobcat Bicycles of Salinas (www.bobcatbicycles.com) will be on hand with cycling clothing and accessories for sale.
2012 Twilight Rides will be held on January 18, February 15, March 14, April 17, May 9, June 13, July 25, August 8, September 5, October 10, November 14 and December 12 – subject to change.
