California SeaKings Basketball Team Get a Fresh Start with

New 7'1” Head Coach and General Manager Mr. Wallace Bryant

New 7'1” Head Coach and General Manager of the California SeaKings with Marina's City Mayor Bruce Carlos Delgado.

MONTEREY, CA - Wash Stallworth, long time resident of Marina and CEO of Sports Dialog is the owner of the Monterey based California SeaKings, a professional basketball team playing in the American Basketball Association here on the Monterey Peninsula. The team is currently in it's second season of play. Mr Stallworth has made a public announcement today, as he is both thrilled and proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Wallace Bryant as Vice President of Basketball Operations for the team. He will also be serving as General Manager and Head Coach. Bryant is a former NBA star center and power forward for the Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls, as well as a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a honored member of the Dons Basketball Hall of Fame.

“Bryant's resume is impressive,” says Stallworth. Furthering, “He is world-traveled and brings great value and integrity to the California SeaKings. Wallace is an extraordinary business man and marketing manager, as he is coupled with keen insight into teaching and coaching the game of basketball. Having played the game, he is especially gifted in handling our players with a mature sensitivity, as he understands their needs.”

Standing at seven feet one inches tall, Coach Bryant certainly has a presence on the court and in the many meetings he is partaking in the Monterey area. Bryant is actively reaching out, and getting to know business and community organization leaders on behalf of familiarizing the local and surrounding areas with the California SeaKings, while he and Mr. Stallworth work to build a reputable and professional organization that stands-up to it's promises in the community.

“The team is truly exceptional,” says Bryant. We have gifted players from around the country and it is important we firmly establish the SeaKings Brand with the level of talent we have. These are an excellent group of guys and we will not only be playing exciting, winning basketball, but will be spending a lot of time volunteering and extending our skills to the youth programs and community organizations on the peninsula,” said Coach Bryant. Bryant added, “I am familiar with this area and pleased with this appointment.”

Mr. Bryant replaces Willie Harrell, former VP of Operations for the SeaKings who is no longer with the organization in any capacity.
